LONDON week 6

This week was absolute insanity. We had our last two days of class, a reading day and then finals. We went to Churchill’s War Rooms on Monday, and spent the majority of the rest of the week studying. Finals were so hard, but we made time to do everything we wanted to one last time.
Friday was our last free day before leaving for Paris on Saturday. We finally had afternoon tea, went to lunch at Coppa Club in a bubble next to Tower Bridge and the Thames. We packed up our things and had our last Ben’s cookies. It was a crazy snowstorm the whole last week, and as a result of that our original train to Paris was cancelled and we left mid-afternoon on Saturday so we were able to grab tea again and explore Portobello Market in its full glory.
I loved my time spent in London. I feel like I’ve learned so much from my experience there, and I loved the hustle and bustle of the city. I loved experiencing the diversity of the city, and how the blend of cultures come together to make London an amazing place. Looking back on my time here, I wish I would have pushed myself to go more out of my comfort zone and maximized every second of time I had to explore and experience new things. That being said, I really feel like I got so much out of my time here!! I felt comfortable navigating the city and doing things by myself. I can’t wait to visit again sometime soon in the future.
On to the next adventure!!
