I haven’t updated this blog in almost a year!?!?! WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?? I figured it was probably time for an update, so here you go!
I believe my last blog post was about my final week spent in Europe back in May. Wow. I miss those days. My time spent abroad with my school and then my family was amazing. I can’t wait to go back! After returning home I had a couple of weeks to get back into the swing of things before starting an internship at Zions Bank. I was a Marketing Intern with the Inside Sales team! I felt like I learned a lot and was able to enjoy networking with fellow interns and amazing coworkers. Working downtown was a lot of fun and made me feel like a young professional (lol). I also randomly got really into kickboxing over the summer, and spent a decent amount of my free time at Title Boxing on 2100 South in SLC. :))) Before summer ended I got was able to visit one of my very best friends in Portland! We had the best time and I want to go back immediately.
Fall semester was my first full semester in the Public Relations program! It was a lot of hard work but I had the best time getting to know the other students in my program. I also started working at BYU Alumni Relations on campus. I love working there and being able to be so close with my incredibly kind coworkers! This year I’ve been rooming with two of my closest friends from studying abroad last year and another friend that I completely adore. It’s been a lot of fun! Throughout Fall semester I also went to California a few times with family and to visit friends.
Winter semester started off on an interesting note as I scheduled a tonsillectomy 4 days before the new semester started! Not my brightest idea but I was able to make it work. I also started an internship at Results RNA where I get to do a lot of content creation and it’s been a great learning experience! I’ve been keeping myself busy and overall life is really good!
I promise to make an effort to post more and about things that are actually important and relevant. More coming soon!! :)))
